京都府の北部、京丹後市に位置する丹後王国「食のみやこ」。
西日本　最大級の道の駅として知られています。
四季折々　1年中通して　楽しめる　この丹後王国「食のみやこ」の中に　約20年にわたりクラフトビール作りに関わり、2013年にはインターナショナル・ビ ア・コンペティションで金賞を受賞するなどした、実力派の職人がビール工房で醸造しています。
丹後クラフトビールは、ドイツ産、イギリス産、地元 京都産の麦芽と、チェコ産、ドイツ産、イギリス産、アメリカ産のホップを使用し、地元丹後の水を仕込み水として使用して醸造する非熱処理、無ろ過の酵母が生きるビールです。
副原料に地元 丹後産コシヒカリを使用したクラフトビールもあります。

TANGO KINGDOM CRAFT BEER

Overview

Tango Kingdom “Shoku-no-Miyako” is located at Kyotango city in Northern Kyoto and known as one of the largest roadside stations in Western Japan.

You can enjoy a lot of activities in Tango Kingdom all year long, but there is also a beer brewery inside this roadside station. Talented beer masters who got the Gold Award at the International Beer Competition in 2013, have been brewing great craft beer for more than 20 years.

Malt from Germany, England, and Kyoto, hops from the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, and the U.S., and the local water from Tango are used for Tango craft beer. Since this beer is not sterilized by heat or filtered, the characteristic of the yeast really stands out.

They also offer another craft beer using Koshihikari (a Japanese brand of rice) from Tango.
