山梨県北西部に位置し、長野県南部と接する北杜市。
八ヶ岳、南アルプス山脈、奥秩父山塊といった山々に囲まれ、南には富士山も望めます。
山梨県北杜市周辺エリアには、10箇所以上の湧水があり、そのおいしさは地元の人々や観光客から定評があります。
中でも標高約1280ｍに位置する「萌木の村」周辺の地下160mからボーリングして汲み上げる天然水は、日本ではめずらしいミネラルの豊富な硬水。この澄んだ天然水が、ビールづくりに最適だったのです。
自分が本当にうまいと感じるビール、そして万人に合わせなくとも、誰かを感動させられるビールをつくりたい、そんな熱い思いで、設備や素材選びにこだわりました。

YATSUGATAKE BEER TOUCHDOWN

Overview

Hokuto city is located at the northwest area of Yamanashi Pref. and adjacent to the southern part of Nagano Pref. This area is surrounded by Yatsugatake, Akaishi Mountains, and Okuchichibu Mountains, and you can also see Mt. Fuji to the south.

There are more than 10 spring water spots around this area and both the locals and the tourists give great reputation for quality of these water.

Especially, the water pumped up from 160 meters underground around Moegi-no-mura (a leisure facility located in the highlands of 1,200 meters above sea level) is mineral-rich hard water which is rare in Japan. This clear natural water is the best for Yatsugatake beer.

They dedicate themselves to brewing beer which they truly feel tasty, and try to move someone’s heart by their beer even if not everyone loves it. With this passion, they carefully select facilities and ingredients.
